Facilitator Terms

Additional agreements within the NomadNatureTemple team

The general NomadNatureTemple terms apply regardless of the participant's role.

The event is co-created. While the concept is designed so that the overall economy and organization are not dependent on achieving a specific group size or predefined outcome, allowing for organic unfolding without commercial pressure, each Facilitator, Resonator, and Host shares responsibility in co-creating the experience. This includes contributing to attracting the desired number and type of participants, and shaping the quality of the shared journey.

A. Definitions of Roles and Terms

Facilitator
A Facilitator participates in the event with the responsibility to co-hold space and actively guide the social, cultural, and organizational aspects of the NomadNatureTemple.

Core Facilitator
Core Facilitators are committed to the facilitation role for the majority of the journey. This includes active participation from the team-building phase through at least 6 of the 10 event weeks. They carry greater responsibility for ensuring coherence and continuity throughout the experience.

Resonator
A Resonator is a potential facilitator who chooses to step into facilitation occasionally and temporarily, in agreement with the facilitator team.

Host
A Host is a team member who supports participants throughout the journey, from initial networking and selection through pre-event communication, on-site integration, and continuous guidance during the event.

Facilitation Fund
A budget to be distributed between Facilitators and Hosts, typically comprising 50% of the official event fee for the shared journey beginning on July 4th.

Responsibilities

Facilitator Responsibilities
Facilitators share responsibility for cultivating a rich and supportive communal experience. This includes:

  • Offering or coordinating meaningful activities

  • Holding space for communication and emotional expression

  • Supporting daily life logistics, including household coordination and sleeping arrangements

  • Being present for participant arrivals, departures, and integration

  • Attending to individual and group needs, including emotional and conflict support

Additional Core Facilitator Responsibilities
Core Facilitators are stewards of continuity, ensuring:

  • Clear communication and ongoing process facilitation

  • Coordination among the community and facilitation team

  • Consistent daily structure and rhythms

  • Organized household and sleeping arrangements

Host Responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for the participants they bring into the event, ensuring they are capable of navigating self-responsibly in sex-positive spaces or receive training upon arrival as well as ensuring adherence to the agreement field.

  • In case of conflicts involving hosted participants, Hosts must provide support and mediation.

  • For personal struggles, Hosts help facilitate appropriate support.

  • If a participant ends their journey early, Hosts mediate a peaceful closure and manage a fair financial resolution.

  • Hosts collect the Facilitation Fund contributions from their hosted participants and coordinate distribution among Facilitators as agreed.

Communal Activities
Facilitators are expected to host "common activities" during weekends (Friday evening to Sunday afternoon) and one evening per week.

Objectives of common activities:

  • Create space for authentic presence and natural unfolding

  • Support individuals in expressing their authentic selves

  • Foster coherence, trust, and togetherness

  • Share tools relevant to the current group dynamic

  • Provide inspiration and meaningful impulses

Common activities should avoid:

  • Imposing formats that disconnect or discourage participation

  • Pushing personal transformation without clear and conscious consent

Optional Sessions and Private Offers
Facilitators and Resonators may offer optional workshops or sessions Monday to Friday, avoiding conflicts with programmed common activities or communication circles.
These offers are not limited to the focus of common activities as defined above and are not reflected in the sharing of the facilitation fund as defined below (if not decided otherwise between facilitators by consens).

Communication Circles
Facilitators guide regular community communication on Friday evenings, Sunday afternoons, and Wednesday mornings. Full participation is encouraged.

Scheduling and Flexibility
Facilitators rotate weekly responsibilities to allow for rest. All are jointly accountable for ensuring group needs are met.

Contribution

The event operates under a shared economy model, where all participants financially contribute to the provision of the space, its infrastructure, and the organizational framework.

  • Each participant including facilitators and resonators, contributes 50% of the official event fee, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Core Facilitators contribute a reduced amount in recognition of their extended commitment.

  • The remaining 50%, the Facilitation Fund, is not paid by Facilitators, Resonators, or Hosts, but is instead distributed among them as follows:

    • 20% of the total fee supports the Host for networking, guidance and care. This amount may be shared between individuals if several people are involved in the hosting of one participant.

    • 30% of the total fee is divided among Facilitators based on weekly facilitation input

The association Valle de Sensaciones, as event organizer, does not handle the Facilitation Fund but supports fair distribution. Instead, the fund is coordinated directly by the circle of Facilitators.

Hosts initially receive the Facilitation Fund contribution from the participants they host. These funds are later reallocated among Facilitators according to agreed distribution.

Facilitators and Hosts are responsible for handling their own financial and legal obligations, including issuing receipts or invoices when requested. They may redirect or waive their share if legal compliance cannot be ensured, provided that the equitable compensation of others is maintained.

Decision-Making and Adaptive Contribution
Hosts can select the financial tier for their hosted participants from the three options: small budget, moderate, or abundant. To maintain balance, each small budget reservation must be matched by at least one confirmed abundant reservation.

Any excess of small budget reservations requires approval from the organizational core team.

The organizational core team has the autonomy to approve unbalanced small budget reservations or other fee reductions when it serves the best interests of the event, provided the 50% share of the applied fee towards the Facilitation Fund is not affected. Decisions may consider factors such as target group size, gender balance, and the inclusion of specific individuals.

The organizational core team also holds the authority to decide autonomously on the acceptance of Facilitators and Resonators.

Individual Accounting
Facilitators and Resonators may independently offer paid services such as workshops, coaching, or care.

They are solely responsible for managing associated legal and financial requirements. The association assumes no responsibility for these transactions, and all services must meet legal standards, particularly where sensitive content is involved.
