Joining our Summer for Wild Hearts and Free Souls

1. Objectives

  • The NomadNatureTemple in Valle de Sensaciones is a temporary event dedicated to communal exploration, natural living, creativity, authentic and free expression, and personal transformation.

  • The Association Valle de Sensaciones provides the environment for this communal exploration to take place. By entering the community exploration, participants engage in an experiment focused on:

    • Living in close contact with nature.

    • Using the resources and materials nature provides.

    • Creating and using natural and artistic constructions.

    • Developing and applying creative eco-technology approaches.

    • Experiencing communal living and human interaction within an unconventional cultural context beyond conventional societal norms.

  • By joining this project, participants willingly and freely enter this non-conventional environment with full personal responsibility for their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Participants are expected to maintain the necessary attention and precaution for their own health, safety, needs, and boundaries.

2. Membership

  • The experimental ground of Valle de Sensaciones is accessible only to members of the Association Valle de Sensaciones. Membership is €50 per year, covering site orientation and regular updates. This yearly membership fee is included in the NomadNatureTemple contribution and can also be enjoyed beyond the event.

  • New members are subject to a trial period of up to 90 days of active participation. If, during this trial period, it becomes evident that a member is not compatible with the social interactions or the established agreements, their membership may be canceled without a refund of the membership fee.

3. Participation

  • Participants are carefully selected based on their personal background and prior experience in self-responsible, conscious, and sex-positive community settings.

  • Participation in sharing circles or comparable group communication formats is mandatory for all participants on Friday evening, Sunday early afternoon, and Wednesday morning.

  • Participants are expected to join common activities on Friday evening, all Saturday, Sunday morning, and Tuesday evening. While these activities are encouraged, they are not strictly mandatory. Other activities, aside from a fair involvement in community tasks (as described below), are optional.

  • Arrival and departure days are limited to specific weekdays to maintain group dynamics. At the discretion of the facilitation team, arrivals on days other than the official arrival day may not be permitted, even in cases of accidental delay.

4. Community Life and Tasks

  • Daily life is shared as a community, with members collectively responsible for tasks such as household maintenance, gardening, cleaning, and more.

  • Everyone present is expected to contribute a fair share including the compensation for major occasional tasks (ex. Shopping, or deep cleaning) through additional effort in daily tasks.

5. Contribution

  • Each participant makes a monetary contribution amounting to 50% of the official event fee, which supports the organization of the event. This fee covers food, resources, and the maintenance and further development of the experiential field. The official event fee is published on our website.

  • This contribution grants general access to the environment, food, resources, and the event’s organization. It does not constitute direct payment for accommodation or gastronomic services, as we function as a community, sharing space and preparing meals together.

  • The remaining 50% of the contribution is paid directly to the event facilitators. This amount is distributed among facilitators based on their roles in facilitation and participant support. The association does not manage these payments but may assist in ensuring a fair distribution process. Facilitators are solely responsible for any related legal and financial obligations.

  • The contribution model offers three rates: 'small budget,' 'moderate,' and 'abundant,' allowing participants to choose according to their financial capacity, ensuring inclusivity.

6. Reservation Process

  • To join the event, a prior reservation through our official website is required.

  • We do not reserve specific sleeping places, as the available spaces are handled by the community in accordance to actual needs and preferences while aiming to offer a maximum of flexibility.

  • To finalize the reservation, a non-refundable deposit of one-third (33%) of the total contribution must be transferred to our designated bank account.

7. Remaining Payment

  • The remaining payment is due on the day of arrival.

  • Payments for the use of the environment, including food, amount to 50% of the official event fee and are directed to the Association. These payments must be made separately from facilitation fees, which are typically handled directly by your designated host, as indicated in your reservation.

If you choose to participate in intensive workshops, the facilitation fee for those may need to be transferred to a separate, dedicated account.

You will receive clear and detailed instructions regarding the exact amounts and their respective payment destinations well before your arrival.

This separation exists because the Association offers the environment and framework in a non-commercial manner. Facilitators and teachers provide their services independently and take full financial responsibility for them. The Association merely facilitates the connection between participants and service providers, we do not manage or process any of these payments.

  • For each day not paid in advance or latest by the morning of the same day, an extra fee of €10 will be charged. After a maximum of three unpaid days, the reservation might get canceled with no refund of the deposit.

8. Extension

  • If an extension of the stay is requested, this can be arranged directly on-site. If we agree to an additional reservation, a deposit of one-third must be provided to confirm the extension.

9. Refund Policy

  • A: In all cases where a reservation is terminated due to a reason attributable to the responsibility of the client, the deposit remains non-refundable, while after recalculating the fee up to the next official departure day the remaining amount will be refunded accordingly.

  • B: In circumstances where the decision to leave is directly influenced by exceptionally challenging community dynamics, we may consider issuing a full refund.

  • C: In all cases where a reservation is terminated due to a reason attributable to the responsibility of the project, due to unexpected challenges, a full refund for all remaining time will be issued.

  • If false or incomplete information was provided in the online form, particularly regarding physical and mental health, personal capacities in a self-responsible community setting, or if significant and repeated violations of our agreements occur (like harmful judgements or violent communication), despite prior requests to modify behavior, a reservation may be terminated, treated as under A.

10. Additional Offers

  • The Ecovillage Laboratory provides a platform for professionals, including facilitators, teachers, coaches, and bodyworkers, to offer their services directly to participants. Fees for these services are managed solely between the providers and the participants, without involvement from the association.

  • The association may promote these services on its website or other channels but assumes no responsibility for the transactions, legal, or financial obligations arising from these arrangements.

  • The association may also facilitate connections with other local offers, including private renting in the co-living house "Casa de Resonancia," other accommodations, workshops, treatments, transport, or tour opportunities. These connections are facilitated without the association managing any payments and without assuming any legal responsibility or liability.
