Economy for Facilitators and Organizers

Event fee

As facilitator or organizer you can define the event fee which is to be payed in addition to the membership fee and the daily contribution. Even if we internally define the event fee in marbles this is nothing you have to deal with (but still we are happy if you show deeper interest in the framework of our project).

The event fee offers to contribute in three different quotes:

  • low budget participants: the reduced quote is the minimum to be payed (67% of normal)

  • the normal quote

  • wealthy participants: the supportive quote (133% of normal)

 

The minimum payment is fully going to the facilitator/organizer (67% of normal quote).

The extra 33% in case of normal payment is understood as provision for marketing. It goes to the facilitator/organizer in case they bring the participant. Or it goes to our association in case we bring the participant.

In case of supportive quote there is an extra 33% which goes to the facilitator/organizer again.

Of their earning the facilitator/organizer has to cover expenses directly related to the realization of the event.

  • Hosting: the basic contribution of anybody who is defined to enjoy free stay (facilitators, assistants, translator,...)

  • Cooking and household service: in case you want to enjoy the special situation of not running the household as a community. This is of 4 / 6 / 8 Euro per person and day (depending on the quote payed)

  • Other extraordinary services: like starting the hot tub,.... (to be consulted individually)

Basic contribution

Everybody present in the valley gives a daily contribution. Calculating this contribution in our internal currency, marbles, offers a lot of flexibility to also contribute in non momentary ways. Again this is not of relevance for facilitators/organizers. Here we simply present the monetary contribution which anyhow applies to far the most participant just coming for the workshop, even if few might have marbles already allowing to reduce their monetary contribution.

The minimal part of the basic contribution goes into the hand of the actual community to covers all costs related to ongoing expenses for living, using the space and building community:

  • Food, laundry, transport, energy,...

  • usage of the experimental field

  • equipment

  • basic facilitation

The extra 33% in case the contribution is 'normal' goes to Achim for compensing past investments, allowing future investments and to honor his integral artwork.

An other extra 33% in case the contribution is 'supportive' goes to the Association.

Membership

For legal and organisative reasons our project is exclusively for members of our association.

The membership fee covers all general organisative costs:

  • Office, signups, administration, legal defence.

  • insurance

  • website, marketing

Facilitators and organizers need to have membership to the association Valle de Sensaciones. Providing the space and the framework for their workshops like also the administration of the signup procedure and the collection of payments are services provided by the association which are covered by membership fees.

Facilitators and organizers take full responsibility for possible tax obligation on payments collected on their behalf.
